EventThe EAC (Extreme Aerobatic Club) is a club that promotes 3D Flying, Fun, Fellowship and Safety. Our 3D Fly Ins combine some of the best 3-D flying you'll ever see with a state of the art sound system playing music the entire day. We usually spend one hour per day with a few demonstrations. We have a few 3-D pilots that fly 4-minute freestyle's to music. We always have something for the kids and plenty of help for anyone wanting to learn 3D. We also allow plenty of time for open flying. If you would like to bring some of the best 3D flyers in the world to your local flying field contact Blaine below for more information about hosting an event. Blaine Austin – blaine@blaineaustin.com New Safety MeasuresThe EAC is a club that promotes 3D Flying, Fun, Fellowship and Safety. With this said, the EAC will use everything at it's disposal to help aid in a safe flying environment. There have been no accidents at any of the EAC events since our conception in 2002. We have held 20 fly ins in this time period. By thinking proactively and being responsive from other incidents in the country, we will keep the EAC events alive and growing for everyone's enjoyment for years to come. For the 2005 season and on, we're asking that all planes that fly at an EAC events be equipped with a functioning failsafe system which, in the event of a loss of signal, will reduce the throttle setting to idle. You'll be asked to demonstrate this capability on the flight line before your first flight. With the engine running and the throttle up at a 1/4 throttle, you'll shut off your transmitter and demonstrate the low-throttle hold. How you decide to program your other surfaces is your choice. We hope that all of you will embrace these changes so it will insure that we all get to enjoy what we like doing most for years to come. |
